Genesis 26:22, “[Isaac] moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, ‘Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.’”
Despite the difficulty of these days as we await General Conference in May, we trust in God’s provision of grace. We are pleased to invite clergy and laity to worship and rejuvenate in God’s Spirit together at the April gathering of the East Ohio Wesleyan Covenant Association.

The Rev. Dr. Joy J. Moore (Ph.D. Brunel University) is associate professor of Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She served as Lead Pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church in Flint, Mich., and prior to that taught at Fuller Theological Seminary and Duke Divinity School. She is an ordained elder in the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Jerry Rinehart: Member of Mt. Pleasant UMC in Carrollton, career as a Quality Engineer at PCC Airfoils – Prototype Foundry in Minerva. Recipient of the NASA “Snoopy Award”, awarded by astronauts to civilians for contribution to manned spaceflight on the Space Shuttle Main Engine program. District – former district lay leader, current Director of Lay Servant Ministries. Annual Conference – former member board of laity, past chair of conference board of trustees, current member of ARAP. General Church – former member of Board of Discipleship (2008-2012), delegate to past General Conferences and Jurisdictional Conferences in 2000, 2004, 2008 & 2012.
Rev. Bob Kaylor: After several years of soldiering and working civilian jobs in commercial radio, corporate security, and youth ministry, Bob felt a call to ordained ministry and entered Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY, graduating with a Master of Divinity in 1995. Lead Pastor at Tri-Lakes UMC in 2010. Senior Writer for the bi-monthly preaching journal Homiletics and author of Your Best Move: Effective Leadership Transition for the Local Church, published by Seedbed, Asbury Seminary’s resource ministry. Member of the WCA Global Council.
